நூலகத்திற்கும் எனக்குமான உறவு மிக நீண்டது. பள்ளிவயதில் நூலகத்திற்குச் செல்ல ஆரம்பித்தேன். எனது கிராம நூலகம் துவங்கி உலகின் மிகப்பெரிய நூலகங்கள் வரை நூற்றுக்கணக்கான நூலகங்களுக்குச் சென்றிருக்கிறேன். நான் கண்ட நூலக மனிதர்கள். சிறந்த நூலகங்கள் பற்றிய கட்டுரைகளின் தொகுப்பு. நூலகங்கள் குறித்தும் நூலகத்தில் சந்தித்த பல்வேறு மனிதர்களைப் பற்றிய நினைவுக்குறிப்புகளும் கொண்ட புத்தகம்.
