Contributor's Note
A locally-published picture book that unpacks Asian parenting ideals in an engaging and simple way. Recommended to me by a friend, it got me thinking about the way we speak to our children today. Though our words often come from good intentions, do we give them the space to be themselves too? As a non-parent myself, it was a good read that showed how our self-identity is very much interlinked with our family culture.
